Abstract

The application of carbon black/silica dual phase filler(CSDPF)in tread compound of TBR tire was investigated. The results showed that the interaction between CSDPF and rubber was strong;when compared to conventional carbon black or silica filled compound, the hysteresis of CSDPF filled compound decreased, and the abrasion resistance increased significantly.
