Abstract
Based on observation and reservoir induced earthquake cases at home and abroad,the seismicity characteristics of some famous reservoir induced earthquake sequence are studied in detail.According to the temporal variation of reservoir filling with reservoir induced earthquake,the reservoir induced earthquake cases are summarized as 3 types:prompt response,delay response and fixing response.The differences in time and space of these three types of reservoir induced seismicity are analyzed and discussed.On this basis the technical approaches of researches on method and prediction of reservoir induced earthquake are synthetically analyzed.
