Historical Transmutation of the View of "Heaven and Man as a Harmonious Entity" in the Pre-Han Age

One of the major forms of dialogue between man and nature is to regard Heaven and Man as a harmonious entity. The context of heaven and man as a harmonious entity takes as its prerequisite the appearance of the Supreme God. Laozi, who took the lead in the trend of questioning into the doctrine of Heaven and Man in the West Zhou Dynasy, overran Confucius much further in removing the sense of the will of Heaven. Thus, the preliminary doubt about the god in the Spring autumn Period, the redetermination of the relationship between Heaven and Man in the Period of Warring Kingdoms, and the regression of the former theory of Heaven and Man in the Han Dynasty all show a general trend that the focus of interpretating the relationship between Heaven and Man has been transferring steadily onto human relations.
