Abstract
Confucius,who has made strenuous efforts to transmit his ideas in his unique and novel way,made significant contributions to the communication of the civilization and knowledge in ancient China.Meanwhile,he has kept the Chinese culture active with an endless thinking source and a powerful vigor by means of his special style ofteaching without writing.It is the communication thoughts and activities of Confucius together with his disciples that enables Confucianism continue to influence the Chinese society,politics,economics,culture,society mentality as well as the spirit of Chinese nation,even through the numerous upheavals and transformations in its over 2000-year history,making the theory an eternal home of their souls.This paper,from the perspective of the study of communication,analyzes the characteristics of Confucius's culture and communication means in his attempts to persuade,teach and compile annals.
