Abstract

A new type of ceramic dispersant was researched. The zircoaluminate coupling agent and methylacrylic acid with organic function of different mixing ratios were synthesized. The FTIR was used to attribute and analyze the characteristics of the coupling dispersants. The dispersive effect was tested and the action principle of the dispersant was analyzed by SEM and viscosity measurement. The results show that when the mass fraction of the dispersant is 1.5%,the viscosity reduction is 92.3%,and the sediment speed decreases slowly and dispersion effect is great. But the viscosity and the sediment speed turn to stable when the mass fraction of dispersant is over 1.5%.The dispersant has the good capability to reduce the viscosity to zirconium silicate, and the effect of coverage of dispersive particle is superior to the others, and the dispersant has extensive prospect on preparation process of blank and glaze.
