Abstract
To detect the deformation faults of transformer winding, this paper describes method and wiring of measuring transformer winding deformation with TFRC-Ⅱ type power transformer winding frequency response tester. The transformer winding fault is measured and the relationship between winding deformation and frequency response is analyzed.Phase B frequency spectrogram of the transformer appears difference in low-frequency stage, which is caused by winding inductance variation leading to integral deformation. The analysis result is verified by disassembling inspection of transformer in manufactory. The results show that the frequency response method is feasible and effective.
