Abstract

The space thought of ZhuangZi arises from a arduous and careful thinking of natural space and social space.It inherits and develops the space thought of Laozi.The prominent feature of the space thought of ZhuangZi is the distinctive humanism.ZhuangZi was written in the Warring States period,full of wars and disasters.ZhuangZi thought people could get spiritual freedom in the unlimited soul space even within the confined social space.People could experience the eternal universe with everything.He called it Xiaoyao You.This humanism space thought has a great influence on Chinese ancient poems and paintings.
