Abstract
Super water absorbent resin was prepared by using graft copolymerization with potassium persulfate as initiator, massratio of 0.014 of potassium persulfate to corn starch , mass ratio of pasty corn starch to acrylic acid 1:6. Under the conditions of reactiontemperature of 50℃, the reaction time of about 3.0h, the neutralization degree of acrylic acid of 92%. The obtained super waterabsorbent resin is capable of absorbing tap water up to 560g/g.
