Abstract

Objective To develop a method for determining the contents of lead, chromium, cadmium, nickel, copper, arsenic in fresh eggs by microwave digestion and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Methods After digestioned by microwave digestion, the samples were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer( ICP-MS),regulated by four elements: rhodium, indium, scandium and rhenium, as internal standard, and quantified using standard curve method. Results Calculated as sampling 0. 3 g,constant volume 10. 0 ml,the method detection limit( LOD) of the several elements were 0. 6 mg / kg-27 mg / kg; the curve linear range was 0 μg / L-200 μg / L. Within the linear range of the standard curve, the linear correlation coefficients of that 6 elements were above 0. 999 0; Measured the standard material,GBW 10011 wheat flour, for six times, the relative standard deviation of the analysis results were below 10%,and the measurement results fell within the range of the requirements of certificate. The spiked recoveries were between 80. 7% and 120. 2%. Conclusion The method provides a simple, rapid and accurate method for the determination of multiple elements in foods.
