Abstract
The chemical constituents of the essential oil of Vitex negundo Linn. in Lueyang county of Shaanxi Province have been analysed by GC MS.35 components of the essential oil were identified.The major constituents are caryophyllene (33.01%),eucalyptol (13.30%),alloaromadendrene (6.58%) and β farnesene (5.56%).
