Abstract
Objective To summarize the mis-diagnosis reasons of atypical tuberculosis. Methods The clinical data of 35 patients with tuberculosis, who were mis-diagnosed,were retrospectively analyzed. Results All patients had no hemoptysis and chest pain at admission. The most common basic disease was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(10 cases),accounting for 28. 6%. The blood routine examination of 80% patients showed normal, and 29 cases had positive results of sputum acid-fast staining. 8 cases were confirmed at the first sputum examination(22. 8%),and 11 cases were confirmed at the second time(31.4%),and 10 cases at the third time(28. 6%). 2 cases were confirmed by biopsy examination, and 4 cases by using fiber bronchoscope brush inspection. Conclusion The inspection of sputum acid-fast bacilli should be highly paid attention in the diagnosis of patients with tuberculosis. Fiber bronchoscope and biopsy examination should be applied as early as possible if necessary.
