Abstract
Combined with the practical situation of heavy-load traffic and the common structure of flexible base asphalt pavement,considering the nonlinearity of flexible base asphalt pavement materials,this paper analyzes the influence of heavy-load traffic on surface deflection of flexible base asphalt pavement with viscoelastic finite element method and puts forward axle load conversion index to get the conversion formula of axle load on flexible base asphalt pavement.The result indicates that flexible base asphalt pavement has less sensitivity to axle load than semi-rigid base pavement under heavy-load traffic,which is more adapted to the current situation of overload and overrun problems in highway transport in our country.
