Abstract
This paper summarizes research progress in an advanced niobium-niobium silicide based in-situ composite that could be used in ultra-high temperature parts. The characteristics of the chemical composition of this alloy are discussed. It possesses excellent mechanical properties such as low densities, high enduring temperatures, good room-temperature fracture-toughness and high elevated-temperature strength.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
