Abstract
Based on the analyzing of 41 kinds of popular block ciphers,we research the features of various multiplication modulo.Then,we describe special multiplication modulo instruction,which can be reconfignrod to perform 16bit,32bit multiplication and multiplication modulo 2~(16)+1,and design the hardware module for the multiplication modulo instruction.Finally,using the special multiplication modulo instruction,we describe the realization of multiplication modulo 2~(31)-1 and 2~(64).
