Abstract

In this paper, the meaning and processing methods of the stream flow boundary conditions in the groundwater numerical simulation software Visual Modflow were analyzed and discussed, the operational mechanism of every boundary and the conceptual model of hydrogeology were elaborated. The paper pointed out that when numerical simulation was used in mine water inflow prediction, the regional hydrologic conditions should be generalized reasonably on the basis of a detailed analysis of the hydrologic conditions in the mining area so as to prevent from prediction error caused by unreasonable boundary conditions. Finally, explanation was made on the handling of the border issues according to the water inflow prediction in an actual production face in a mine, the application effect in the actual project is better,so it can provide certain referential significance for the solution of similar situations.
