Abstract

Objective To study the acute toxicity of timozoline in mice. Method The drug was given by two method (i.g. and i.p.),and the result was analyzed by Bliss method. Results By given once, the drug could cause the mice to be poisoned and died successively. Some mice died after 14 days from the dose. Conclusion The LD50 of timozoline in mice was 173.90mg/kg(151.79～199.75mg/kg)for i.g.,and 164.53mf/kg(144.36～187.49mg.kg)for i.p..
