Phacoemulsification of Subluxation Lens with Intraocular Lens(IOL) Implantation

Abstract

Objective To probe the effectiveness of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens(IOL) implantation for lens subluxation.Methods 5 cases(7 eyes) of lens subluxation were performed phacoemulsification and IOL implantation.Results(1)3 months after operation,the corrected visual acuity was 0.2～0.4 in 3 eyes,and 0.5～0.8 in 4 eyes.(2)IOLs excursed slightly in 1 eye.(3) temporary high intraocular pressure(IOP) was observed in 2 eyes.Conclusion With small incision? well-recovered visual acuity and few complications,phacoemulsification and IOL implantation is a reasonable therapeutic method for subluxation lens.
