Abstract
By changing the microwave radiation time and mass ratio of reactant,the silver nanoparticles with various morphologies were synthesized via microwave irradiation from polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and silver nitrate(AgNO3) solutions.The silver nanoparticles were characterized by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy,scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The results showed that the amino N in PVP has reductive effect.The morphology of silver changes from spherical to cubic,and then to slice-shaped with the increase of mass ratio of PVP to AgNO3.
