With the methods of the documents,interview and logical deduction,the paper analyzes carefully many restricting factors on the current national traditional sports development.It has been put forward that Innovation and Change is the development way of national traditional sports,and also emphasizes that the development of national traditional sports should not only be based on the level of protection,but also on the advance with the times;taking the peculiar national character as the foremost to absorb extensively new sports culture and ideas;and innovating boldly to seek protection and greater development.
