Multi-slice spiral CT Urography for diagnosing retrocaval ureter

Abstract
Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of Multi-slice spiral CT urography(MSCTU) for retrocaval ureter.Methods 6 cases of retrocaval ureter with CT manifestations and chemical data confirmed by imagical pathology in our hospital within recent 3 years were analyzed retrospectively.Results The MSCTU features of retrocaval ureter in all 6 cases showed different degrees of dilatation along the ipsilateral renal pelvis and metes;and the stenosed and compressed position of motes located at the poster ion aspect of inferior were cava presented as fish hook orsshape with 1 case complicated by renal calculus.Conclusion Multi slice spiral CT Urography provides specific value for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of retrocaval ureter and its complication.
