Abstract
The philosophy and religious thought implied in Zhuangzi provided a mental weapon for the Taoist cenobites who further developed the thought of god-man and solstice-man. Their exploration of temperament has influenced the development of Taosm and helped promote the development of Neidanjiao. Taoist scholar Chen Jingyuan's thought that “Fairness is orthodox represents the characteristics of Zhuangzi, reflecting that Song dynasty was characterized by Confucianism.
