Abstract
Research on co-processing waste pesticide is at an initial stage in China.A co-processing experiment was carried out to evaluate the environmental impacts of waste pesticide co-processing in cement kilns using a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. The environmental impacts were then compared to other methods of hazardous waste treatment.1 kg of hazardous waste was used. The results showed that the environmental load of co-processing waste pesticide is 0.183 9 ×10 -12 a -1,and is much less than the environmental load of normal incineration of hazardous waste, which is 1.428 4 ×10 -12 a -1.
