Combining incision on upper palpebral margin for complications of restoring-blepharoplasty

Objective To investigate a effective approach for complications of restoring-blepharoplasty.Methods Resecting upper eyelid excess and flabby skin,orbital fat,orbicularis oculi muscle and debonding scar and conglutination by incision on upper palpebral margin,then suturing incision.Combining with continuous hidden ligature method to operate double eyelid plasty.Results At 3 months to 2 years follow-up,repairing complications of double eyelid postoperative 62 cases,61cases was effective.Only one was ineffective,because double eyelid was exorbitant and upper eyelid sag tissue was defect overmuch.Conclusion Combining incision on upper palpebral margin with continuous hidden ligature method not only resected upper eyelid excess and flabby skin,orbital fat,orbicularis oculi muscle but also debonded scar and conglutination by incision on upper palpebral margin,meanwhile it possesses several advantages such as incision unconspicuous,restoring-time short,operative flexible,and so on.
