Abstract
The ancient Chinese scholars thought language can not completely express meaning,this theory reflected the knowledge of the limit of language.Heidegger and Wittgenstein also focused on this question,Heidegger thought the best language is that of poem,people should restore to the original state;Wittgenstein pointed that language would be in the practice activities.Chinese is the language which has more meaning,readers can interpret differently the same literary work,in a word,language and meaning are a paradox.
