China's Diplomacy in the context of East Asia Regional Cooperation From the Perspective of New Regionalism

The development of new regionalism in East Asia provides a broad arena for China's diplomacy from 1990s in the world politics of globalization.The diplomacy for promoting East Asia regional cooperation is becoming an ever-brightening highlight in China's diplomacy currently.In the context of new regionalism,the government of China proposed the new concept of security,promoted the idea of open regionalism,pushes China's cooperation with ASEAN,supports for ASEAN's leading role in regional cooperation,deepens cooperation among China,Japan and Republic of Korea on the basis of 10+3.In the future East Asia regional cooperation,China should provide more benefits for the ASEAN member states from the own economic growth,continue to play a more responsible partner both in the region of East Asia and the whole world,deal with marine territorial disputes and historical issues cautiously according to the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea,promote cooperation on economy and trade among China,Japan and Republic of Korea,and develop Sino-US relations in a more constructive and cooperative way.
