A Study on Trade Facilitation Problems and Their Countermeasures Between Yunnan and the Neighboring Countries

Under the background of accelerating economic globalization,regional economic integration,development of international and interregional trade,the general consensus holds that trade facilitation should be improved.Yunnan is in the frontier minority areas.Its social-economic development level is significantly behind other provinces,and its trade facilitation is even further below the average level of the country.Trade facilitation in its neighboring countries is also lower than that of Japan,Korea,or Singapore.To change this situation and improve Yunnan's trade facilitation,financing mode should be flexible to solve the present problem of inadequate investment in infrastructure,expand the coverage of trade facilitation to include value links of trade products,reduce the cost of operation,transform government's function,improve the trade system,establish a political and economic environment that is harmonious with trade facilitation,improve the present settlement system,set up an exchange rate stabilizing mechanism,and remove the bottle neck of not enough competent personnel.
