Abstract

Aim To investigate changes of the plasma viscosity and serum viscosity with shear rates at 30℃.Methods Index of the blood viscosity(BV)、plasma viscosity(PV) and serum viscosity (SV) at 30℃±0.5℃ in going from a shear rate of 110sec -1 to 10sec -1 was determined from 38 popuiations by LIANG-100 TIPE viscometer. Results All the index of BV、PV and SV was increased significantly with shear rates increasing(P0.01).Conclusions Both plasma and serum are non-Newtonians because viscosity’s shear dependency at 30℃.
