Abstract

The state of art of 3D constrained Delaunay triangulation is analyzed. Prerequisites for the legal existence of boundary edge and boundary patch in triangulation are put forward. Applications in engineering are discussed. The result extends theoretical basis for the algorithm of 3D constrained Delaunay triangulation.
