Abstract

This paper mainly discusses the common problems in the web GIS field,and then basing on Web Service and .NET technology we bring forward a new Web GIS architecture,service-oriented Web GIS software platform. This architecture reflects a brand-new theory:service is software and software is service. Finally,the paper introduces the design scheme and development implement of SuperMap IS.NET.
