Abstract
The liquefaction coefficient method is suggested based on the Standard Penetration Test(SPT),through the ratio of the critical values and its SPT data, and with the liquefaction coefficient curves together to judge sandy soil liquefaction degree, the sandy soil liquefaction methods are discussed. The main canal of the mid-line project of the water-transferring from south to north connected with the Hutuo River is taken as an example, the coefficient method is used to analyze and contrast the liquefied condition of sandy ground soil and the place of the serous liquefied soil is proved up. Thus the more evident base is offered for the design and construction of ground treatment. The method is proved to be simple, evident and more valuable by application.
