Abstract

Problem of mines with resource crisis is one of the hot spots in China. The concept and classification of such mines are controversial which is yet to be identified. We put forth here the first schedule for the classification on basis of their crisis degrees and potential assessment. They are the mines being exhausted in ore resources wthin the mining district or they are facing close or bankrupt in a certain period from now on because of ore price fluctuation and possibly leading to uneconomic mining of the remaining resource.
