Industry status and application of ε-caprolactone

Abstract
The production capacity,product quality and China market of e-caprolactone industry were described.The international e-caprolactone process technologies were analyzed,such as peracetic acid oxidation process,6-hydroxyhexanate cyclization process,catalytic oxidation process,etc.The applications of e-caprolactone and its polymers were introduced,including polycaprolactone,polycaprolactone polyol,polycaprolactone-type polyurethane,caprolactone copolymer and polyester dispersants.The development trend of e-caprolactone industry was outlooked.The demand for e-caprolactone was expanded while developing e-caprolactone and its application.China should enhance the development of polycaprolactone-type polyurethane.
