Abstract

Two new chiral amino alcohols were synthesized from ((+)-camphor),and their application to the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes was described. One of the ligands showed a good asymmetric induction in the catalysis of the reaction of benzaldehyde, and provides a yield of 85% and 73% e.e.
