The main factor affecting post cataract operation of naked vision is cornea astigmatism.Different cataract operative patterns,incision size,location,and shape vary in influence on cornea astigmatism.Postoperative astigmatism is the vector sum of preoperative and intraoperative astigmatism.Preoperatively,ophthalmic surgeons should be aware of cornea astigmatism for choosing the appropriate operative modality and location through designing the incision to correct cornea astigmatism and decrease surgically induced astigmatism,required for resolving problems of post cataract operative refraction and improving visual acuity.
