Abstract
The several sulfur dioxide flue gas desulfurization methods which include limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization, lemon absorption, rotary spray dryer, active carbon absorption and metal oxid absorption recent years in China and their principles, characteristics and application levels are generally described in this paper. Several new developed desulfurization methods such as sodium sulfide desulfurization,electron beam desulfurization, membrane absorption and animalcula desulfurization are also illustrated in the paper.
