Abstract

The planning for the national parks serves as the overall layout and the basis of all the activities in the parks. This article introduces the priciples and contents of the planning system of the American national parks; then, it elaborately expounds the basic framework of the planning system,i.e., the overall management planning, strategic planning, the implementation of the planning as well as the four gradations in its annual work program; at last, it summarizes the characteristics of the planning system of the American national parks.
