Abstract
This article summarizes some advances in the research on deep sea hydrothermal vent communities in the past twenty years. The research content mainly consists of two aspects. One aspest refers to the distributions, species, living habits, feedings, growth rates and their reliabilities on sea floor, etc of modern hydrothermal communities. The other refers to sizes of individuals, chemical components, distributions, conformations, mineralizing modes and textures of the ancient hydrothermal vent communities fossils, as well as their comparisons with the modern hydrothermal vent communities.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
