Abstract
Sialon is a compound of Si-Al-O-N, which have good physical and chemical properties. This article summarizes some research results. Some synthetic methods of Sialon have been introduced at present, and effects of different factors including sintering aid, temperature and etc on structure and performance of Sialon ceramics are summed up emphatically on the basis of my own experiment. And the applications of Sialon have been introduced briefly.
