Abstract
By using the basic method of noise measurement, traffic noise values were measured,and different types of vehicle flow data were gained in a certain section of the Southwest Road in Dalian.Through comparing various domestic and international traffic noise prediction models,a revised forecast model was selected to predict theoretical noise value.The errors between predictive value and the actual value were calculated,and their causes were analyzed.Various noise pollution evaluation indicators were calculated by using noise measurement value.Finally,according to the relevant noise standards,it was concluded that the traffic noise had already exceeded the limits of traffic noise and thus affected the daily life of urban residents.
