Abstract
Study results of the
introduction and cultivation of BXGardenia jasminoides Ellis in Henan Province were first
reported in this paper.5 natural types of G. jasminoides Ellis were mainly
described,namely,var. jasminoides, var. Grandiflora, c.v.BXMicrocarpa, c.v. Rubineicarpa and
c.v. Indiciparpurea,WTBZamong which G. Jasminoides var. Grandiflora, c.v. Rvbineicarpa and
c.v. Indiciparpvrea performes better with excellent growth,beautiful flowers,big friuts and
claims a broader development prospects in Henan Province.
