Abstract

Twelve 2-thioquinazolin-4-ones were rapidly synthesized by a new parallel synthetic method, which included aza-Wittig reaction of iminophosphorane with carbon disulfide to give phenyl isothiocyanate and subsequent reaction of isothiocyanate with various amines in a parallel fashion. The structure of compound 2-thioquinazolin-4-ones was confirmed by means of()~1HNMR,~(13)C and IR.
