Abstract
Effects of nutrition liquid containing Chlorella spp. and active yeast on the growth and reproduction of rotifer Brachionus plicatilis were investigated. The results were as follows: ①Rotifer fed with the mixing diet by the rate of nutrition liquid containing Chlorella spp. to active yeast was 2:1 (Chlorella spp. 53g per hundred million per day and active yeast 10g per hundred million per day), was suitable for rotifer reproduction, in which the rotifer density increased to the largest. ②Hold egg rate of rotifer was the highest when fed with the mixing diet by the rate of nutrition liquid containing Chlorella spp. to active yeast was 1:1 (Chlorella spp. 40g per hundred million per day and active yeast 15g per hundred million per day). ③Water quality in both pure condition or mixed with the diet containing Chlorella spp. maintained high. ④Rotifer grew and propagated better at 28℃ than that at 23℃, however, the red epiphyte and bug also grew fast at 28℃.
