Analysis on Causes of Death Among Residents in Taishan District,Tai'an City,2011

Objective To study the main death causes and burdens among residents,so as to provide the scientific basis for the intervention.Methods The surveillance data of death cause during 2011 were collected and analyzed.[Results]The crude mortality rate was 521.86/105 during 2011,the standardized mortality was 495.49/105,The mortality of residents(/105) in males was 626.43,in females was 415.78(P0.01);the mortality was 87.61 in the people aged 0-4 years old,5.27 in the people aged 5-14 and 79.48 in the people aged 15-44,693.78 in the people aged 45-64,4 290.28 in the people aged 65-.The first five leading causes of death were malignant tumors;cardiovascular diseases;cerebrovaseular diseases;respiratory system diseases;injuries and poisoning,which accounted for 88.05% of all death causes.The top five death causes of life lost were malignant tumors;injuries and poisoning;cardiovascular diseases;cerebrovaseular diseases;digestive system diseases,those years of potential life lost were 19 995 person-year,which accounted for 89.13% of the PYLL of all death causes(22 432.5).Conclusion Chronic non-communicable diseases and injury are the main causes affecting the residents life in Taishan district.
