Folk is a traditional Chinese art form,which is closely linked with working people and reflects the people's real life.With the changes and development of times,the music workers created more excellent works on the basis of the traditional folk songs and made it into folk song with the constant changes of the forms and content of the folk songs.The word folk song has been repeatedly mentioned and employed in modern Chinese music history.Though the new connotation of the new folk songs and traditional folk songs are closely related,they both have different understanding and cultural inheritance mission under the different historical and cultural background.The traditional folk songs combined with splendid diversified Chinese culture developed into one of the most important form of folk song.
