Investigation on water resources allocation frame being appropriate for the characteristics of the Yangtze river

The water resources in the Yangtze basin is abundant relatively,but time-spatial distribution is uneven.In the Yangtze river basin,the nature disaster is frequent,urban water demand increases fast,water supply and demand contradiction become more violent,water pollution become serious,water use efficiency is low etc.The construction of TGP and water transfer for other basins will upset original water balance of the Yangtze river.Reasonable development,utilization and allocation of water resources in the Yangtze river basin are very important for the social and economic development in the basin.Understanding the water resources characteristics and problems in the basin,researching river ecological water use,analysing water allocation quota for different water functions and different regions,putting forward water allocation scheme for regional society and economy development are the bases for water resources management,and are also the requirement and fundamental prerequisite of reasonable water resources allocation.This paper discusses water allocation frame being appropriate for the characteristics of the Yangtze river.
