Abstract
A kind of signal generator based on FPGA and DDS is designed in this paper. The working principle of DDS is introduced, and memory design techniques based on quarter-wave is adopted for enhancing system resolution and reducing the resource utilization of FPGA.The DAC0832 chip is used as a D/A converter. This system design has passed the verification. The testing wave of system is also given at the end of the article. It has been found that the system has the advantages of operational reliability, lower design cost and expanding function easily. It also has the practical value.
