Abstract
The study and utilization of tropical and subtropical maize germplasm is the important program of corn breeding.The paper briefly summarized the utilization profiles of tropical and subtropical germplasm in China,commented the methods,approaches and problems in tropical and subtropical germplasm utilization.Finally,the importance and utilization prospects were proposed in studies of tropical and subtropical maize germplasm in China.
