Abstract

In this paper, based on the principle of a nonlinear feedback shift register, using arithmetic to synthesize a given binary sequence and a periodic sequence, the shortest nonlinear shift register which can generate this sequence was found by a C program. A generator of a pseudo- random se- quence with an alterable period and the initialization state was made by FPGA, the simulative result is given, and the feasibility of design was validated by an actual experiment.
