Abstract

Buddhism art including mural,sculpture,and dancing art is to propagandize and interpret Buddhism teaching.Folk artists refer to those living in a special region and as well as a special time.As a reflection of life,religious art records dancing forms of that time.In another word,such dancing forms are still living in many kinds of dramas,classical dancing,and folk dancing.We could find many classic dancing movements in Dunhuang mural.Especially,Yungang grottos present several difficult dancing techniques.If dancers of that time had not performed those techniques,how could painters,sculptors create such paintings and sculptures Making a research into dancing images of Buddhism art is to inherit our national dancing art,and especially grasp the spiritual essence of classical dancing ever passing down throughout Chinese tradition.If we could develop and innovate on the basis of national dancing root,then it will be no difficult thing to promote Chinese dancing to an international height.
