Abstract
Objective In order to investigate the tumor-specific cytotoxicity induced by HSP70 peptide derived from Ehrlich ascites tumor cell and to study its mechanisms. Methods An animal model of tumor vaccination was established and the average weight and the diameter of the tumor no dules of tumor-bearing BALB/c mice after immunization were observed. The 3H-TdR release assay was used to examine the cytotoxicities of the splenocytes to Ehrlich ascites tumor cells. Results It showed that specific cytotoxicity of splenocytes from the immunized mice to the Ehrlich ascites tumor cells was significantly higher than that from the tumor-bearing and control groups . Conclusions HSP70 Ehrlich ascites tumor cell are active in inhibiting tumor and could be used in effective anti-tumor therapy.
